Where does my donation go?
The volunteers at RESCUE, Inc. are members of the horse industry. We have secured donations from other companies in our industry. These donations consist of a range of products from horse treats to blankets and even gift products. Many rescue groups hold fund raisers where they sell donated products. We donate many items for these fund raisers. RESCUE, Inc. may use your donation to cover shipping costs when we send items that have been donated out to individual rescues.
Much of the money donated will go to cover veterinarian costs incurred by the rescues.
Money for feed is also a constant request. RESCUE, Inc. is working to leverage our connections in the horse industry to provide discounts on feed and other necessities for rescue groups.
RESCUE, Inc. has costs like any other organization. A small percentage of the money donated will go towards website maintenance, printing costs etc.
Can I specify where my donation goes?
You can control where your donation goes by clicking on RESCUE, Inc. products. If you purchase any item on this list you can specify where you want it shipped, ensuring that a specific rescue gets an item you want them to have. We are working hard to expand this list by partnering with more companies who make horse products.
When you buy these items for you own use, a portion of the sale goes into the Rescue Fund, so either way you are helping.
Corporate Sponsorship: We welcome corporate sponsorships of our group. Supporting RESCUE, Inc. allows a national company to help organizations all over the country, not just on a local basis. Individual Contributions (money and product): We welcome all donations. Tack/blankets must be clean and useable. Money is always needed for the massive vet bills incurred by rescue groups.
